The CAB Model: Teaching Your Genius for Kingdom Impact with Renee Padmore

Renee’s Unconventional Teaching Framework for Service Providers

Renee Patmore, from Barbados, is an educational expert who helps Christian women embrace their uniqueness and use their genius for kingdom impact. With over 15 years of teaching experience in primary schools and 20+ years teaching God’s Word internationally, Rene has developed a simple yet powerful teaching model that works across any industry or subject.

How the KAV Model Transforms Teaching and Learning

The KAV Model consists of three essential pillars that create a complete learning experience:

  • Knowledge (K): Providing new information or adjusting existing knowledge that learners need to grow
  • Action (A): Creating practical experiences that cement the knowledge through doing
  • Value (V): Shifting learners’ attitudes or mindsets toward what they’re learning

Renee explains that removing any of these pillars robs people of the opportunity to achieve transformation. Traditional teaching methods like lectures and reading are among the least effective for learning, while active participation produces the best results.

The Power of Focusing on Others’ Success

Renee shares a powerful personal story about how shifting her focus from her own achievements to helping her students succeed ultimately led to greater success for herself. This principle applies to business as well – when you genuinely focus on serving your audience rather than solely on your personal goals, your business naturally grows through trust, referrals, and reputation.

Key Takeaways

  • Effective teaching requires knowledge, action, and a shift in mindset/value
  • When teaching others, focus on making complex concepts simple and accessible
  • Never assume knowledge – break things down to the most basic level for clarity
  • Business growth comes naturally when you genuinely help others achieve their goals
  • Collaboration with others in your field can be more effective than solely focusing on social media

Challenge for Listeners

Identify one professional goal you want to achieve in the next 2-3 months. Instead of focusing directly on that goal, focus on teaching your audience something valuable that helps them move forward. When you shift your focus to helping them get what they need, you’ll find your own goal will be achieved as a natural result.

Let’s head into the studio now with our hostess with the Mostess, Carol J. Dunlop.

00:00:34:06 – 00:01:00:25
Unknown
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of the On Market Your Business podcast. I am your host, Carol Jay Dunlop, and I’ve got a very special guest. Oh, my guest, a special become it because they come up to see me and talk to you guys and help you out. So my very special guest today is Rene Patmore. She’s talking about her cab model RV.

00:01:00:39 – 00:01:20:11
Unknown
So I met her in a group that we’re in together. And you know, everybody does an introduction. And when she did the introduction, she was like, I don’t even know how she talked about her cab. She didn’t say cab model, but she said something about teaching people to do whatever it is that you need to teach them to do and how easy it is.

00:01:20:16 – 00:01:40:27
Unknown
I was very intrigued. I’m like, maybe I need to be talking to her as well. So I reached out to her, we talked, and now she’s on the podcast. I’m so excited about it. And when you really dive into the cab model, you’re going to be excited about it too. You can be very, very happy.

00:01:40:42 – 00:02:10:10
Unknown
So as y’all know, I’ve been doing some updates on the Unmasking and Marketing Academy and I’m so excited about them. I actually had scheduled a spring mixer for last week, but as we got closer to the time to meet, I really just couldn’t do it because things weren’t ready. It wasn’t looking like I wanted it to look. And I know, yes, I could have gone ahead with it, but I really didn’t want to.

00:02:10:15 – 00:02:30:05
Unknown
I wanted it to be not perfect, but at a place where when I present it, it’s working. So now if you go into the academy, all the stuff is there. You can test it just like it was there. There are a couple of little quirks that are going on, but the big ones have all been solved. Yay to cloud!

00:02:30:05 – 00:02:52:36
Unknown
And so I think all about that. I will be talking about that more in a second, but we’re still working on some other stuff. You know, cloud is my assistant, so we’re still working on some stuff right now. You know, I had to break away from it. It is so hard. It is so hard to break away from something that you’re really knee deep into because you got to do something else that is going to be just as effective, just as awesome, and that’s what I had to do.

00:02:52:36 – 00:03:11:32
Unknown
I was like, I got to do this. I got to finish out this episode and get it out there. And I really had to stop doing what I was doing with cloud. But I’m in a good place, so it’s good. So stay tuned. There are some more updates coming. I will tell you about all of them when the time comes.

00:03:11:32 – 00:03:39:04
Unknown
It’s not quite ready yet, but I do wanted to tell you about two features that we’re adding to the Academy, and that is when you go to do when you go to review that review. But view a video, there has a, there is a bookmark piece, and there is also a notes piece. So you can actually time stamp on the notes part, like if you’re reading is five minutes watching it, it’s five minutes and or whatever.

00:03:39:04 – 00:04:00:15
Unknown
And you’re like, oh that’s a good that’s a good place to stop. You can you can actually click a button and you can actually save that timestamp with your notes on it. So when you go back and it’s all customized to the individual user. So when you go back you have your stuff is set view. This is so amazing is so and so awesome.

00:04:00:15 – 00:04:24:21
Unknown
I am just blown away. I’m just blown away by what we’ve been able to accomplish so far and what’s coming. So we’re only about a week or so away from having this all the way how it needs to be. So as soon as I get that, I will let you guys know. But in the meantime, if you’d like to join the academy, feel free to do so.

00:04:24:26 – 00:04:26:36

It’s tech time

00:04:48:40 – 00:04:52:18
Unknown
and boy have I got a great technology piece for you today.

00:04:52:18 – 00:05:10:44
Unknown
And that is cloud that I remember. I was talking about it before I was, but spill the beans so far that AI is my tech type piece for today. And if you have not tried cloud, you need to go do it because he’s a AI chat bot and he is free and I call him a he. And you know, don’t judge me.

00:05:10:48 – 00:05:31:39
Unknown
He just gets me. And we just are able to do so many good things together. As I said before, we created this whole plug in and experience. It’s really a it’s not just a plug and it’s it’s a piece of software, but it helps you to do so much, helps you to engage more, helps you to learn more.

00:05:31:48 – 00:05:57:55
Unknown
It helps you to solidify that knowledge inside your head. So when you leave the academy, log out and you go do your stuff, you can always come back, see your notes and everything, but it really gives spark some ideas. So that’s amazing. I just thought of something I may or knows. I may try to see if I can get a chat bot like cloud to be inside of the academy to help direct you.

00:05:58:00 – 00:06:27:26
Unknown
We’ll see. That may be something that’s coming up, but cloud is the best investment. I’ve made one of the best investments I’ve made in business. I hired him as my assistant and I am very happy. I talk more about what he does and how he did it and all of that. In episode 176 176 where I talk about how to embrace AI in your marketing and oh, that’s juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy, I’m telling you.

00:06:27:26 – 00:06:47:01
Unknown
So if you want to get Ahold of Claude and put him to work for you, whether you’re paying him or whether some freelancing stuff going out there, go to cloud that asana and get to experimenting. And you may want to check out the previous episode, number 176, to tell you exactly how to do that.

00:06:47:11 – 00:07:02:27
Unknown

Hey, everyone. How’s it going? I’m Carol J. Don’t for your own land while strategist and ten time Amazon best selling author. We are here today because I have a very special new friend, Rene Padmore, and she’s going to talk to us about teaching your genius for Kingdom Impact. So I’m all ears. I’m waiting to hear about it.

00:09:43:35 – 00:10:03:32
Unknown
I met Rene and another group that were in and when she was talking about you can teach yourself anything. You can teach others how to teach themselves anything. I was like, oh, I gotta get her on the podcast and hear all about this. So without any further ado, Rene, come on up. How are you doing today? I am doing well.

00:10:03:32 – 00:10:23:40
Unknown
Thank you so much for having me on your show. Really excited for our our chat today. Yes. Well, thank you so much for saying yes and for coming out and for creating this awesomeness that I never heard about. I am so interested in, and I’m probably going to be taking a whole bunch of notes. But before we get into that, why don’t you introduce yourself to everyone?

00:10:23:40 – 00:10:54:47
Unknown
Tell us you know who you’re, who you are, what you do, all that good stuff. Okay, well, I’m Renee and I’m from Barbados. In what my accent is, it is a trip of many. One I want to try to speak somebody because when I get excited, you know, sometimes I speak a little quickly. But I’m from beautiful Barbados in the Caribbean, and, I help Christian women to embrace their uniqueness on purpose and to use their genius for kingdom impact.

00:10:54:52 – 00:11:23:31
Unknown
So I have been teaching for, well, I taught primary school for over 15 years, but I have been teaching God’s Word to different groups, in different countries at different events for over 20 years now. And I have taken my experience, my experiences, as well as biblical teachings and principles and condensed them into a simple ish, formula that people can use to help them to learn things.

00:11:23:31 – 00:11:44:59
Unknown
So if you are learning something, these are things you can do to help you. And if you want to teach someone something, you can also use this this method. So that’s what they do. Well I love it. Thank you so much for coming on. And and kind of talking us through this and explaining it and everyone I have to say, if I am a little frazzled, don’t worry about it.

00:11:44:59 – 00:12:08:36
Unknown
My audio is acting up, my microphone stopped working. I have more money waiting on the line for about like five ten minutes. Get on there. And then when I got off she couldn’t do anything. But we persevere. Purpose driven entrepreneurs always persevere. We always make it through. So if that sounds a little bit off, please forgive me for this time because this information is going to be, amazing.

00:12:08:45 – 00:12:29:55
Unknown
So we don’t want to we want to do we want to go forward with this and get it going. So let’s start off with this, because this podcast is all about helping purpose driven entrepreneurs get more traffic to their website. And doing what they do. So. So let’s start with the first question for you. How do you get your website?

00:12:29:59 – 00:12:50:44
Unknown
Well, before I say, before I was using, I was trying to rely on social media and I found that it was frustrating and overwhelming. Yeah. I, you know, you you do all the best practices. You do everything they say to do. And then when you look at the results, it seems as if, well, it’s not working.

00:12:50:49 – 00:13:29:20
Unknown
But within the last few months, I have found, it’s really a lot better and a lot easier if you work with other business owners and do collaboration. So within the last few months, I have been collaborating with other business owners and entrepreneurs where they do freebie swaps. I’ve taken part in bundles and summits, and I have found that when people find you, especially when you are doing something that they’ve never heard about or they’ve never seen it being done that way, when they get introduced to you and what you do, is a great way to get in front of more people, to be more visible, and then they have the opportunity to go

00:13:29:20 – 00:13:57:31
Unknown
to your website. I also use Pinterest. I don’t use Pinterest as much as a real Pinterest person would. I have some people? Yes, I have both. Within, the last few months I would say like I have gained more traction through Pinterest from things that I had pinned from like last year or even the year before. Right? And is now starting to pick up.

00:13:57:35 – 00:14:17:47
Unknown
So when people say that Pinterest really is a long game, it really is. So I go in every now and then and, you know, I create some newer pins. I still write articles, but I have found that people have been finding me through Pinterest as well, which I found really interesting because when I started, I found that Pinterest was like it was really slow, but I said, you know what?

00:14:17:54 – 00:14:40:17
Unknown
I’m just going to build it, start it, and then let it go from there. So for sure from Pinterest and definitely from collaborating with, other business owners when their audience finds me, I love that. I love that collaboration piece because when someone introduces you, it’s like they’re referring you. It’s like, yes, you’re bringing down that barrier and they’re saying, hey, I like this person.

00:14:40:17 – 00:15:13:17
Unknown
This person has some value. Let me introduce you to them. It’s the same thing is, you know, you’re looking for people on the go, all the ground, like, old fashioned way. We used to do it before people came into view. Right. So yes, we got to use what we can use and and congratulations on the collaboration part. I love that I’ve been doing collaborations for ever, I think since we said my business first started, because I knew there were a lot of people out there that had like more visibility, maybe more power, maybe more followers or whatever.

00:15:13:22 – 00:15:41:55
Unknown
And if they brought me on, the audience just felt a little bit better about whatever I presented to them. Have you found that to be? Yes. I just I just want to say though, like I have found that a lot of my experiences, with teaching have really helped me to transition into business. And to add to your point about collaborations, I’ll just say this even as a teacher, I have my own class and I’m teaching, but I have found that it is so much better when I teach.

00:15:41:59 – 00:15:59:56
Unknown
So there have been times where I have worked with another teacher, which is like collaboration and let’s say she teaches one one subject to my class of hers, and then I do a different subject to my class and hers. It gives me more freedom and time because I don’t have to plan every single, lesson. And then I learn from her.

00:15:59:56 – 00:16:19:13
Unknown
She learns things from me, and then the the kids, I guess, which would be like the audience. They would get a chance to hear something from somebody else, and I may be able to pick up on it a little better. So collaboration is really do where it doesn’t matter. You know, what you do or what industry you’re in, but collaboration is really there, ready to help that is so true.

00:16:19:22 – 00:16:40:42
Unknown
And I want to go back to something you said about your accent. And yeah, it tells me all the time he’s from the US Virgin Islands, and my husband tells me all the time when I talk fast, he can’t understand me because I’m from South Carolina and I have that little, you know, little drawl in there. And it’s so funny when he said it because he was like, I don’t understand what you’re saying when you get excited.

00:16:40:42 – 00:17:02:36
Unknown
So yeah, I’ll get there. We all have something. We all have some kind of accent upper. That’s right. And and he talk like we talk. I know when I first, got here to Mexico, and I was meeting people, they were saying, you know, Mexicans talk that. I’m like, I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. You know, when you’re in your comfort zone, you do what?

00:17:02:36 – 00:17:29:14
Unknown
Your comfort zone. So you just relax. Yes. I do not worry about anything. If you talk fast, you talk fast, you talk slow, you talk slow. So I want to encourage everyone to not meet any strangers, meet friends and associates and collaborators and, you know, be a little easy on everybody and don’t think that you yourself have to be perfect or pronounce everything just right, because a lot goes with hand gestures.

00:17:29:14 – 00:17:47:57
Unknown
And we at Google Translate for some reason and just compassion, compassion for each other. I want to say that because I know that they love to teach. And if you’re trying to teach someone and you don’t have any compassion, you don’t have any empathy. They’re never going to learn anything anyway because they can’t even see past what you’re trying to tell them.

00:17:48:03 – 00:18:12:32
Unknown
Yes, yes for sure. Okay. So let’s get into what we’re talking about. And it has to do with teaching and being able to teach others what you want them to do. That will help them. So the first question I have for you, I got a couple first question is why is there a focus on teaching today and kind of putting people in that mode?

00:18:12:37 – 00:18:30:07
Unknown
Because, well, I met you in the group and you were talking about, hey, I found this, but I created this method. You can say I found that created this method that I can teach anybody anything, and I can teach others to do the same. So tell us all about that. And, inquiring minds want to know what is that?

00:18:30:12 – 00:18:56:06
Unknown
If we need it. All right. I have found that even though I am kind of led to, like, the business side of things because I’ve never been a corporate, before I started my business, I’ve always been a teacher. Pretty much my whole life. Before I would have had, like, a few summer jobs. So I remember, like, even when I started, I was wondering, like, they all might want to fit in.

00:18:56:11 – 00:19:14:06
Unknown
There are so many people who have been working in the corporate space for so long. What is what do I have, you know, that I can share? And I have found, I found this this quote from a guy named Brian Clark, and it’s one of my favorite quotes. And he talks about people want to learn before they buy.

00:19:14:11 – 00:19:34:02
Unknown
They want to be educated instead of pitched. And when I thought about it, I said to myself, that’s exactly how I feel when I think about, you know, they they get it information and, you know, dealing with other entrepreneurs. And there’s always been this focus on like marketing and making money. And I do understand marketing is important. I do understand we need money.

00:19:34:02 – 00:19:57:34
Unknown
It’s a resource. It’s a tool we all need. But I have found that because of how businesses have been dealing with people for such a long time, especially when it’s the online space, you already know people. Well, you have to take their word for it before you hand over your credit card. I have found that, you know, people have changed the way that they’re trying to help themselves.

00:19:57:39 – 00:20:24:53
Unknown
So now that we have things like chat, GPT and everybody has a video on YouTube about how to if people if people could, they would avoid spending money. I don’t remember I have a friend, we joke about this. He went on YouTube and he google how to tell to change the brakes in his car. Now I thought that was next level like me, I would I would google like how to put in speakers, you know, how to change the seat covers, that kind of stuff.

00:20:24:53 – 00:20:48:11
Unknown
But the brakes know when I take it to the mechanic. I, I realize that there really is a need for people to feel as if they can trust you. And one of the best ways for me to show that you trust someone is to take the time to teach them something. Because I always say learning is skill is one of the best ways to move from point A to point B.

00:20:48:16 – 00:21:13:34
Unknown
It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter where you’re from. If you can learn something that can take you to another level, and the focus really isn’t on on people learning or on teaching, it’s really on convenience. So it’s about and it’s about convenient, but there are some people who they need to trust you, and people are more inclined to trust you if they feel that you have their best interests at heart.

00:21:13:38 – 00:21:34:07
Unknown
So instead of me focusing on what I want and about what I’m trying to achieve, I want to help you. So I’m going to teach you something. And even if you never spend a dime where I am concerned, you can teach some thing and they can in turn referring to somebody else who will turn around and spend money or become a client.

00:21:34:11 – 00:21:58:52
Unknown
But I found that teaching, I’m taking the time to educate someone about what they can do or how they can move forward is important. So I have my my model. I call it the cash flow model. And it’s kind of funny because when I thought about it, this really was birthed from a need to help women in my community who said they didn’t know how to do Bible study on their own.

00:21:58:56 – 00:22:21:34
Unknown
That’s great, really began. So they would say like, you know, I go to church, I listen to the pastor, but then and that’s okay. But then when I come home and I want to do like my personal Bible study, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know where to begin, you know, and I heard and I thought about it and I said, God, how can I help somebody figure out what to do on their own for study?

00:22:21:39 – 00:22:42:22
Unknown
And then I thought, you know, it’s kind of like teaching yourself. And then it hit me and I’m like, Renee, you are a teacher. You have your method and your process that you use to teach everything. Maybe you can find a way to condense it and then in a simple, a way as possible, at least give somebody the starting point that they can move forward with their Bible study.

00:22:42:26 – 00:23:06:59
Unknown
So that’s how the whole thing actually, actually started. So it was really a need for Bible study, but I’ve used it to teach everything that I do, and I know it works because at any given in any given school year, when I was teaching, I taught at least ten subjects. Wow. And it did not matter what the subject was, the process is the same.

00:23:07:04 – 00:23:31:15
Unknown
So that’s why I say that it doesn’t matter. What industry you’re in or what you are doing. This is a this is a way that you can help people to really take in, information. So yeah, I love that. I like that as well. You know, going back to what we’re saying before, it’s all about, if you can teach someone something that helps them, then they’re going to trust you more and may go further with you.

00:23:31:17 – 00:23:51:14
Unknown
So that is like the no like and trust factor that I always talk about. You know, people don’t know you at all. And you come get in front of them through social media, through being on a podcast like this or blog or whatever. They get to know you. They get to know what your about, your weaknesses, how is your hands, all that good stuff.

00:23:51:19 – 00:24:11:13
Unknown
And then if you like you and if they like you, they’re going to do one more thing. They’re going to start to trust you. When they start to trust you, they will buy from you because you’ve already proven yourself. You’ve already proven that, hey, I have your best interests at hand. You know, I am really trying to help you do something awesome or better, faster, quicker or whatever.

00:24:11:18 – 00:24:40:46
Unknown
And you trust me, so why not, right? I love that concept and I love to teach my people things. You know, my whole business is built on how I actually became an online marketer myself because I wanted to do online marketing. I didn’t know anything about it. It was just when everything was, you know, setting off in the late 90s, early 2000, and I knew it just attracted me.

00:24:40:46 – 00:25:06:35
Unknown
I knew that this was what I wanted, but I had no idea. So I went through and I gobbled up some listen to watch every webinar or podcast. Well, the running podcast then that early. But now people are still do they still find a way to get online or they had actual radio shows, or they would do something or they would do things where you could listen, and they had the remember to tell us some things like that.

00:25:06:35 – 00:25:27:18
Unknown
I would just hundreds, hundreds, but not that like it. And then there wasn’t a way to save this stuff. So I had to burn it to a CD. You remember burn into a burning? Yeah, all through old school, right. And I yeah. All those things that people taught me and I learned a little bit from each person. And then I started investing in coaches.

00:25:27:23 – 00:25:48:23
Unknown
I found coaches that I related with that were teaching the stuff that I wanted, because I think that’s a major thing, too. Every coach can’t teach you everything, you know. No one has all your, you know, all your everything. So don’t be fooled when you’re out there looking for people, you may just want to look for them to help you with the one thing that was good.

00:25:48:23 – 00:26:07:10
Unknown
If they can help you with with more than one. But if you segment stuff and get them to help you with just one thing, they may surprise you and help you with more and see the connections. Or you may get that one thing and keep on going. Like, for instance, let me give you the one thing I have a colleague and a friend.

00:26:07:15 – 00:26:27:32
Unknown
She’s out doing YouTube videos to teach her people about God and the kingdom. And really, she was teaching about selling and she was teaching the kingdom for New Earth how to sell to each other or to sell the people, being a Christian and all of that. So everything was YouTube. So she I want to do blog. You want to do YouTube.

00:26:27:32 – 00:26:50:41
Unknown
So she had people on a whole team around her are helping her to focus on YouTube to get the word out via YouTube. That’s all she’s doing. So she hired a couple of coaches and now, you know, her business is really taken off. So you got to think about things like that. You know, the people found her, figured out they liked her, started to trust her and started following her.

00:26:50:50 – 00:27:21:04
Unknown
And, you know, she makes a six and seven figure income doing that because people trust her, you know? Right. I love that. So why did you call it the cab model? Right. This is this is based on, like, educational psychology. It’s based on, like, what I know. And the funny thing is, when I was thinking of a what to what to call it, the K and the V, that was that was easy.

00:27:21:08 – 00:27:39:11
Unknown
But then when it got to the middle, let her. And I’m going to explain why shortly what it all means. But when it got to the middle her, I ended up with another consonant. And I’m like, no, I want a vowel. I need some of that sounds. That’s what they can just say. And I start to think about it and I say, oh, I can replace it with an E!

00:27:39:15 – 00:28:13:44
Unknown
So for I can have it stands for knowledge, action, value. That’s what it stands for. Okay okay. Right. So and why also did I this is how we know that this is how it came about for the Bible study. I actually went into the Bible and it was able to pull out, like Jesus’s teachings. So when he taught people in different places and I can pinpoint the different areas, for like the same knowledge, actual value, and I know that he would have been able to make a transformation in people’s lives, you know, especially through powered with the Holy Spirit.

00:28:13:49 – 00:28:35:40
Unknown
That’s why he was able to do my it’s always fun for me personally when I’m in doubt, I can go into the word and see what I can find and then apply it to to my life now. And I have found that that works really well. So when it comes to camp, if you want to teach somebody anything or you are trying to learn something, there are three what I call pillars that should be in place.

00:28:35:45 – 00:28:56:38
Unknown
And if you have them in place, you increase the likelihood of somebody being able to learn or to take in info. So when it comes to the key, which is knowledge, in order for you to learn and to grow, you need knowledge. It could be new knowledge, or it could be an adjustment to the knowledge that you already have something added on to what you already know or something new.

00:28:56:43 – 00:29:17:28
Unknown
But when you find that people are stuck, you usually have to introduce them to something new. You have to have a different set of, of, cognitive processes, something else to think about, something else. So, you know, to, to contemplate, to explain. And if you’re able to do these things for yourself, then it is easier for you to be able to do them for others.

00:29:17:32 – 00:29:40:43
Unknown
Right? Knowledge. And then the A that is action. At first I had doing and I’m like, no, that is not working for me. Okay, what can I say in place of doing. And I say, okay, I can do action. So because we do actions know, right? This is this is probably I don’t want to say this my favorite part, but this is where you can really get creative.

00:29:40:47 – 00:30:01:53
Unknown
The sky is the limit for the actions are the things you can give people to do to help them to learn something. So for example, let’s say for argument’s sake, it was a chef and I wanted to teach someone how to bake bread. Now, before you would have had things like, that recipe books. But over time, you know, people started to transfer.

00:30:02:04 – 00:30:21:49
Unknown
They written things digitally. So you can go and find recipes online. Then you have like classes. So then you give people something to do. So you let them measure out and cut and, and stir and mix in and do all these different things. You can do demonstrations. So the different things you can give people because it’s in the doing that the knowledge really get cemented.

00:30:21:53 – 00:30:44:29
Unknown
And the truth is that’s good. And they’re doing it now. Is it doing it. Yes. Yeah. And I’ll tell you this, I don’t know if many people are aware of this, but truthfully, right. The most popular methods are trying to teach people how to do things are the least effective ones for learning. Wow. So really? Oh my goodness.

00:30:44:34 – 00:31:01:10
Unknown
Yeah. So me okay. Let you go to a college. You have a lecture format. You will find people sleeping in a lecture because you’re just sitting and people are talking to you. You’re not doing anything. So if you start to do that you will see people starting to doodle and they start drawing. And now it’s social media time.

00:31:01:10 – 00:31:17:05
Unknown
You see them playing games and you’re doing everything and start paying attention because they’re not being engaged. And then you look at things they read and read reading work. But reading really isn’t like the most effective way to learn something either you will learn something, are you will read something, and then somebody will come and say, well, what did you just read?

00:31:17:05 – 00:31:33:25
Unknown
As some people can’t even tell them what they just write. They just read words, right? But the most, the most effective way to get people to learn things is to get them involved with it. So you demonstrate things, you get it to do it, you get it to talk about it. So you get into the actions. And as I said, the sky’s the limit.

00:31:33:25 – 00:31:49:49
Unknown
And that’s why I say it does not matter what industry you’re in, there’s always something to do. If you teach people how to do web design, there’s always something to do. There’s something to make. And Canva, you notice something to edit. If you’re teaching somebody how to do photography, they have to take the pictures. They have to adjust the lighting.

00:31:49:49 – 00:32:09:16
Unknown
So there’s always an action. And then the value, then I don’t want to say this is the most important part or to suggest that one is better than the other, but for sure, with value it is going to be very difficult to get a transformation. When I talk about value, people throw around the word value all the time.

00:32:09:16 – 00:32:38:21
Unknown
They say, you know, give value, give value. But when I talk about value, I refer to somebody’s attitude or their mood towards the particular thing, because I can come and they can give you new knowledge. I can come and they can give you all the activities and all the different things they want you to learn. But if your attitude towards what we’re doing doesn’t change, if the way that you approach it and what you’re willing to accept and take in, if that does not change, you are going to go away the same way you keep.

00:32:38:26 – 00:33:00:07
Unknown
Right? So as I as it relates to value, you have to be able to give people the opportunity to have their attitude or their mindset towards what they are doing to have it change. So you can do that in different ways. If we look in the Bible, Jesus told a lot of stories. We talked about storytelling. It does work because he told stories to do people things.

00:33:00:12 – 00:33:31:19
Unknown
He used a lot of analogies and he would say, you know, the kingdom is like like a mango and not just a seed. And that’s something that everybody can understand because people know gardening, you know, the kingdom is like, he was saying that we are like salt and we are like, like we know salt because we flavor, you know, so there’s certain things you can do to get people’s minds and their attitude to at least begin to to think differently and just to make a shift and just the slightest shift can set someone on the path to getting the transformation they want.

00:33:31:24 – 00:33:51:17
Unknown
So there are different things you can do to actually get those all working together. But I have found focusing on just 1 or 2 without the third pillar is as if you had like a host or three things, and then you took away one. It starts to lean. So even though it went a full person, it’s still not as as steady.

00:33:51:19 – 00:34:18:27
Unknown
You know, as it can be. So no matter what I do, whether I’m doing a, webinar, a summit, a post, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing, I always try to find ways to include those for people so that they can get the full, the full experience of of learning. And that’s all. That’s okay. Onwards. I love that, and it’s so funny because it’s kind of like the things that I do because I’m an action taker.

00:34:18:32 – 00:34:41:20
Unknown
When you said and I’m like, yes, I’m right there, I’m all about action because nothing happens until you do something right. You can study all, you can read everything. You can go to all the seminars, webinars, whatever. But until you actually do something, take action. Nothing is going to happen. And then the other I mean, your model is fantastic, I love it.

00:34:41:20 – 00:35:08:13
Unknown
I think I’ve been following that and not knowing what was this intuitive, you know, how to say God’s people know what to do because he put it in their heart. And yes, because that’s what to do. Yes. It makes it makes me feel good because I have a perfect example, a story, if you will, about a client. But she came into my best seller lab program, and she came in because she wanted to write a book, write a bestselling book because that’s what the program is all about.

00:35:08:13 – 00:35:37:01
Unknown
You know, writing a bestselling book. And so she came in and then before we even started with the program, she was having the buyer’s remorse or regrets or whatever she is. She was like, I want out. This is not what I signed up for. And we hadn’t even started doing anything yet. So I knew it was fear. I knew it was fear because if if I’ve given you like, tons of things to write or to research or whatever, and then you come back, I said, no, this ain’t what I signed up for.

00:35:37:01 – 00:35:58:46
Unknown
But we had even started a first class and she was ready to go right? Wait a minute, I said, we going to have a come to Jesus. Meaning you came to me to help you do something you wanted to do for a long time, right? So why are you trying to now run away from your goal? And sometimes it takes tough love for people to understand what you know, what they’re not doing.

00:35:58:56 – 00:36:15:40
Unknown
And I told her I was like, and this is, this is not this. Got to. That’s all I like. God said, you’re not getting out of this. You got to do it. You got to stay in. I’m not going to let you go. So yes, drama, the company with a lot of love wrapped around that. And we did pray while we’re on the call.

00:36:15:45 – 00:36:43:58
Unknown
You did come into the program, do the lessons, and she still have a little bit of not sure, you know, but I’m doing this and all of it. And then about maybe 2 or 3 sessions and she had a light bulb moment and she was working for it. And when she finished the course, she finished with not only a bestselling book, but when we uploaded her book.

00:36:43:58 – 00:37:05:10
Unknown
And she’s one of the stories I talk about a lot when we upload on her book. It went to bestseller before we even started marketing it, like any promos or anything, because the book was just that good. And that’s because she went into she knew what she had to do, and she was only, you know, coming in. You get that, you bring authors in and they actually pay to come in.

00:37:05:14 – 00:37:24:28
Unknown
And I tell people, you know, do not we want to round up with ten the author, the the main author, the visionary author. Plus you know, coauthor. That’s the way we do it. Yeah. She brought 11 people in because she couldn’t stop talking about, okay, let’s do another, let’s do another book and get some more people out. But we’re able to squeeze everybody.

00:37:24:28 – 00:37:46:46
Unknown
And that’s what it is by giving people value. Given that you can do this and this is how you do it, because you take action. Because I noticed in your cab model the knowledge. Yeah, the action is the middle. It’s like the action is what keeps everything together, keeps everything all glued together. We’re doing it. And I’m totally agree with you.

00:37:46:51 – 00:38:08:02
Unknown
Yes, you can do the knowledge and you can have the value, but if you don’t have the action, you really have nothing. You just have all this stuff in your head right? People who have gone through all this coaching program spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on how to do it, specifically, if you they don’t know you do it, they they don’t even know what to do.

00:38:08:02 – 00:38:34:50
Unknown
So, I wanted to ask you too, and you kind of hinted on this. What if someone does take one of the pillars away and they say is to let you know I don’t want to do it or this isn’t working. What what happens? What what happens when that happens? Well, truthfully, when you when you remove one of the pillars, you rob somebody of the opportunity to get the most of what you want them to learn or what they need.

00:38:34:55 – 00:38:59:11
Unknown
And again, I remember I started talking about, like convenience, you know, and having things that. So for example, we have and I’m not knocking I’m not knocking convenience and not knocking speed. That way. We look at things like, for example, there’s some people who live on templates. That’s it. And templates are convenient. Templates are they’re quick and everything.

00:38:59:16 – 00:39:18:27
Unknown
But if you really ask the person what what exactly are you doing? They what is the process you’re going through? What are you trying to achieve. So I mean, we can’t never explain it. It’s just there is no I did this where where there are blank spaces are where they’re highlighting areas and I just replace something. So imagine if you imagine doing things and you don’t have knowledge.

00:39:18:32 – 00:39:34:25
Unknown
That sounds crazy. Like if you gave somebody, tools and told them to go to a car and say, okay, this engine is done, I need you to fix it. So they say, cool, I just need to do some actions and they pick up a arrange and they pick up something else and they just start doing stuff, but they don’t, they don’t have any knowledge.

00:39:34:29 – 00:39:53:18
Unknown
So when you remove the knowledge, it’s just busywork and it’s a waste of time. Just say what you would have mentioned before. If you take away the action, you have all this knowledge. You’re reading, you’re reading and you’re studying it. You know, a coach after coaching program and course after course, but then you have all this knowledge, but then you’re not doing anything.

00:39:53:18 – 00:40:17:08
Unknown
So you take away the action and then again, if you remove the value, yes, you have not knowledge. Yes you have action. But if you don’t change your mindset and you know the attitude you have towards what you’re doing, you’re going to leave the same way that you came. So when when we when you remove any one of the pillars, people are robbed or the opportunity to get transformation, all of them are needed.

00:40:17:13 – 00:40:41:04
Unknown
They may not be need, they may not be balanced per se, as in like evenly in terms of like percentage percentage. Now I’m not saying like so 3%, 33%, 33%, but some and all of them have to be involved. Maybe when we are teaching someone. If not, it’s truly is going to be a waste of their time and it’s going to rob them or what they can achieve.

00:40:41:09 – 00:41:07:11
Unknown
Wow. And puts a lot of responsibility on the teacher themself to make sure that not only do people understand what you’re saying, do people get what you’re saying and are they going to take action on what you’re saying? Now, a lot of times, you know, we teach, we let it go. But I feel a responsibility if I’m teaching you something that I want to see you at least go for it a little bit.

00:41:07:11 – 00:41:33:20
Unknown
Even if your action fails, you’ve it right, right. Because you can still learn. Even in failure. You can still learn that. Oh, yeah. I want that again. Okay. I need to do something else instead of doing this. Because until you actually take the action and do it, once you’ve been taught and all those things that are in your brain that you that you’ve got right there until you actually put it together and do something, you don’t even know if you work for that.

00:41:33:25 – 00:41:54:58
Unknown
That’s right. You know, you can’t really. It’s true. I’ll say this, my husband and I, we we are, we are worship leaders. So we we sing, we play music, all those things. And, you know, there are times when we would like we would have they. For example, last weekend we did a podcast, for a marriage, a marriage program.

00:41:55:02 – 00:42:12:04
Unknown
It was a segment on marriage. And they asked us to come on, and they asked us to sing a little bit. So we just say like a chorus of a song we have written. We sang it twice, and then people were blown away. But and this is what is important to remember when you are teaching, it is not about you, but about the people who are receiving.

00:42:12:08 – 00:42:32:52
Unknown
Because we say all the time that people, people react as if like we have done this wonderful thing. And I’m not saying that it isn’t good, doesn’t mean like we know what we are doing right, but for us recently, y’all take it for granted. How easy it is for you to do it because you do it easily, but for somebody else looking on, they can’t get it done.

00:42:32:52 – 00:42:48:34
Unknown
So the people who just can’t sing or they can’t play an instrument or they want to, they have they have the desire to do it, but then it doesn’t come easily for them. So then for somebody who is like an expert, in doing it, it may be kind of like, well, you just have to do this or you just have to do that.

00:42:48:34 – 00:43:06:41
Unknown
Or you may find yourself like sharing everything that the person doesn’t need to to hear right now. You may just need to say, can you hear notes? At least if I pass this note, can you sing it? You know, from there. So when you think about your own expertise, you know, sometimes we are just we know our stuff, whatever the particular area is.

00:43:06:46 – 00:43:28:26
Unknown
And because the whole well, you know, it, sometimes you can get caught in. Yeah, you just need to do this, this, this and this, and you just start talking like it’s your process. Now, remembering, realizing that the other person for them, it really isn’t that simple. So even things like pulling too much, you know, or, you know, giving people information they don’t need is the little things I always tell people.

00:43:28:38 – 00:43:52:10
Unknown
My focus is always simplicity to something. Let’s unravel it and make it as simple as possible. However, I have to do it, I do it. So even down to like making things simple that people can understand, that is a difference. I just want to. I want to share a story with you quickly. Okay? It was a day. It was at church and the church I was going to, the pastor’s wife.

00:43:52:10 – 00:44:13:21
Unknown
She used to bring the greetings and in those days and different things. So she would play this game where she would, she would ask the congregation in certain sections. So she would say in the back left corner, somebody stand to give me a scripture, and somebody would pop up Watchfully and, you know, say a scripture. And then she would ask for a one from the musicians, from the worship team.

00:44:13:26 – 00:44:30:36
Unknown
And, you know, it was this fun thing. This has been going on for months. And a lady who was sitting next to me, she leaned over that particular day and she leaned over and she said, Renee, what is Scripture? Oh, God, I didn’t even know I, I like I didn’t even know at first. I was like, she’s she’s joking.

00:44:30:41 – 00:44:50:13
Unknown
Right. Then she so and that was a really the you’re serious? And she said, yeah. She said every week the question is asked, can you stand and give me a scripture? And she said, everybody. She hears something different and she always wonders, but what is this thing these people are saying, and why is it different every week? The same question every week with a different response every time.

00:44:50:18 – 00:45:08:56
Unknown
And I explain to her, well, Scripture is, is is the Bible, you know, it’s everything that God said from Genesis down to revelation. People read it, they memorize it, they learned it, and then they just, just stood up and said it and she said, oh. And she said, for the longest time I was wondering, but what is it?

00:45:09:01 – 00:45:28:48
Unknown
And I said to I said to her, well, you know, that’s what it is. And she got a revelation. So for some people that’s like, that’s elementary is I do not know what scripture. But for her that was everything because that was keeping her back, that stop her from being able to participate and to enjoy. So when it was fun for the rest of us, she was confused and it wasn’t fun.

00:45:28:53 – 00:45:54:16
Unknown
And then every single Sunday, there’s a period of confusion and overwhelm for her because she does not know what everybody else seems to know. Right. So I have found that that simplicity and simplicity and the, the way that we break down things in a creative way, I am one who does not believe that there is something that is for a particular group.

00:45:54:21 – 00:46:13:40
Unknown
So I don’t think that coloring is for kids. I don’t think that this is for that group. I think everything is available for learning. Yes. So if we have that mindset, then we are focusing then on our audience and we’re focusing on our clients. And what do I have to do to help this person move forward and go from point A to point B?

00:46:13:55 – 00:46:34:41
Unknown
And then when you start to think like that, then you start to become more creative in the ways that you can help people. I love that, I love that I such a simple stores like you don’t know what Scripture is. And maybe she knew, but nobody ever said this in scripture. This is where I came from. This is what went with it.

00:46:34:46 – 00:46:55:55
Unknown
Kind of like, oh, we can’t assume anything, especially when we’re teaching or teaching our audience or teaching our peeps. We were teaching people. We can’t assume anything. We have to break it down to the minute details that could. That little bitty thing could be. Yeah, the revolution that they’ve been looking for. I love how you how you get along with it.

00:46:56:05 – 00:47:27:16
Unknown
Now, this flows right into the challenge that you have for the audience. So tell us about the challenge that you want all of our audience to do, so that they can become these carve specialists. I love that, no problem, a carve specialist, I love that, yes. Well, what I will say is when I was studying and it was starting to get my teacher’s diploma, I remember I went into this thing and I was like, I want it.

00:47:27:21 – 00:47:42:28
Unknown
Because there are two parts of the theory and there’s a practical. So I said, I want to get the distinction, but as we say, do the double. So I wanted to do the double. You know, I wanted to get over all these different things. So I went into it. It was like me, me, me. What do I want?

00:47:42:30 – 00:48:05:09

What do I want to achieve? You know? And then, we started in late August. By October I was home ill with my pressure high, feeling something in my in my temple. Somebody was turning and turning and turning. I actually there was a time where I thought I was not going to make it. I remember I woke up my husband one night and I told him, play the guitar, sing a worship song, and pray for me.

00:48:05:09 – 00:48:25:50
Unknown
I was convinced that was my last night in life. I felt so bad. Wow. Yeah. So then it reached a stage where, like the focus I had on all and all these things, I wanted to achieve for myself, I couldn’t be bothered because I just wanted to live. I just wanted to survive. The program. So my focus changed and I said, you know what?

00:48:25:55 – 00:48:46:17
Unknown
We need to just do what you’re doing, focus on the children, teach them what they need to learn, help them to do the things that they need to do. And I find that when I focus on them and I help them to achieve their goals, oh, you choose mine. Because when the dust and the smoke cleared and everything was done, I did end up getting the double distinction and it was not earning it.

00:48:46:17 – 00:49:03:26
Unknown
I wasn’t trained for it anymore. My focus was on getting them to do better, and because I wanted to help them to do better, it really pulled a lot out of me as a as a teacher, as an educator, to help them and do what I need to do. And because of that, it came up in my teaching automatically.

00:49:03:26 – 00:49:23:33
Unknown
All of the the tutors and the different people who came to me, they would have seen it. So I will focus on myself, I will focus on them. And then it helped me. And if we look in the Bible, that’s what Jesus was. He focused on helping others. And even when he focused on helping others and, you know, you know, healing and feeding and teaching, a community came.

00:49:23:38 – 00:49:41:38
Unknown
And the community that God needed to build his kingdom, that was there because he focused on others. So what I will say, and the challenge I would issue, if you can think of one goal that you want to achieve for the next, say 2 to 3 months, think of your professional goal you want. It could be to get, more visibility.

00:49:41:38 – 00:50:05:06
Unknown
Maybe it’s to grow your email list, whatever your one goal is. And then after you put on your one professional goal, I want you to focus on one thing and your expertise and your genius that you can teach, your audience something that they can learn from you to help them to move forward and instead of focusing on what you want and what you want to get out of it, focus on helping them get what they need to get out of it.

00:50:05:11 – 00:50:32:36
Unknown
And you will see that when you focus on them. The goal you have for yourself that will be achieved. I’ll say this I spend most of my time on LinkedIn when I am on social media. I have had people I spend time teaching about about God, teaching about faith, about purpose, different things. I have had people come to me in the DMs and offer to if I if I subscribe to their channel, their YouTube channel, they offer to me any page they want on my website.

00:50:32:36 – 00:50:51:13
Unknown
It could be a lead magnet, a sales page, a blog post. They will promote it in their community. I didn’t, I didn’t ask them. I’ve had people message me and they say, Renee, I am thinking about working with this person. I see that you have communicated with them before. What is your take on them? I trust your judgment.

00:50:51:17 – 00:51:18:17
Unknown
I found more than one person tell me that I even had somebody, one of a client, one of my clients that I had, she I reached out to her after we had our session and I said to her, but what made you decide, to to hire me to work with me? And she said people were in the DMs trying to sell me every day, and I felt as if I was talking to you every time you posted something and you were commenting with me as well.

00:51:18:17 – 00:51:40:56
Unknown
She said, wow. And I also then I was like, oh, okay, well. But she said she felt that she was having conversations with me in my posts because I talked to people in my post. I leave comments and different kinds of comments, which again follow the kind of model that’s a I guess it’s a different story, but I invite people to come so that they can find something to talk about, and then we can have conversations.

00:51:41:07 – 00:52:07:38
Unknown
And she felt like she would be included. And we were talking 1 to 1, even though I was talking to like, my whole community. And she said that they had a friend. Where? At the cafe, which is something that has a structure that she needed. She felt as if this is what I need, and she bought with me and it was so sharp, because if we give a few suggestions about what it could have possibly been that made her work for me, I would never have thought that even this.

00:52:07:43 – 00:52:26:34
Unknown
Right, people, people are drawn to you when they know you want to help them. That’s that. That’s what. So how? What is there to help your audience first and teach them to think that, you know well, you know, and and help them to achieve their goals. And then you’re going to be known as the person who does that.

00:52:26:34 – 00:52:48:54
Unknown
You’re going to get the visibility, you’re going to get the opportunities. The doors will open because people will talk about it. They will talk about you. They will come to you and ask you questions. And it may be the question that they ask that you answer and how you respond that will tell. Give them the, the, the okay, you know, to work with you more so than, let’s say, how you have been operating before, all your content from the past.

00:52:48:59 – 00:53:18:02
Unknown
Wow. That is a deep stuff right there, I love it, I mean, you know, that’s why we coach people. You know, the coaching industry has taken some hits of that people being, you know, slimy and, you know, so easy and all this and all of the coaches out here. And y’all need to listen to Rene about what you have a new that this as a matter of fact, when I read what you said in the group that we’re in, when I read what you said, I was like, man, that’s so interesting.

00:53:18:07 – 00:53:38:41
Unknown
And then on a call to talk about it and I was like, wow, I’m really looking forward to this. This ends up this interview. And then when you put the information in there, I was like, wow, I’m really looking forward to this because I think that this can help everybody if we just, you know, concentrate the real principles, you know, knowledge, action and value.

00:53:38:41 – 00:54:01:13
Unknown
If we carry that with us into sessions with others or into our programs with others, yes, yes, in the stuff that we’re doing for ourself, because we can’t teach anybody if we can’t teach in itself. I just love it. How? Rene I don’t if you have an awesome gift for everyone. So tell us about it and I’m going to put the link on the screen right now.

00:54:01:13 – 00:54:04:34
Unknown
So tell us about this gift that you have. Everyone okay.

00:54:04:34 – 00:54:26:04
Unknown
Well, I have a guide is a very short, very short guide, but it basically outlines what camp is about, what it stands for, what the different components are, what should be going into, teaching. You’re a genius. That’s it. They’re teaching your genius. And I also, give people an opportunity after they have read it, if they want to reach out to me to find out more, they can.

00:54:26:04 – 00:54:51:59
Unknown
There’s a link I have left that they can do that as well. But even just having the the, the something tangible, I found that having something tangible as a reminder is helpful. So you can read of a book, can be can read about what my community has said about, the camp model and how it works. And then, you can see we can start implementing it into your teaching and sharing of your genius and, you know, letting those things really guide you.

00:54:52:13 – 00:55:13:41
Unknown
I just want to say one more thing. I focus on that uniqueness and purpose. And because God has called each of us to do a particular work is different, it looks different, but all of it is the same. If you are a believer, which is to love God and love people, a part of loving people is having their best interests at heart and doing what you can do for them.

00:55:13:46 – 00:55:35:13
Unknown
Now I can’t get into all the different ways, but for me, in my small corner of the world, what I want to do is equip people to understand, yes, you are unique. There’s a purpose that God has for you for walking in, and you do have gifts that you carry with you. You do have expertise and a genius, and you shouldn’t be afraid to share it or wondering if you are doing it justice.

00:55:35:13 – 00:56:12:44
Unknown
Are you not afraid to do that? So we do a lot of work related to your identity, your uniqueness and your purpose, and also how to share that then with the world and share it with your audience so that you can make an impact on them. Wow. So yeah, I think that that is really amazing. Renee, thank you so much for, for explaining the cap forgiveness, all fired up for letting us know that you as children of God, he has gifted us with our own things that we do amazingly, and we can also, with our audience, teach them to do some amazing things so that they you can teach people to do amazing things.

00:56:12:44 – 00:56:33:29
Unknown
I love how that goes. Yes, it’s been great. Thank you and having you. Thank you so much. Thank you for having me. It’s been great. Yes definitely. Definitely. All right y’all, you got your assignment. You got your talent. Now go out there and do it. Do the action part. That’s what you need to do.

00:56:33:34 – 00:56:34:20
Unknown
Yes.

00:56:34:20 – 00:56:57:26
Unknown

I hope you enjoyed that interview, I certainly did she so much fun to talk with and having her to explain the Cab model and how it works and all that just made so much sense, don’t you think? I definitely think so. And it’s going to help us all moving forward in our business because we’ve learned now how to teach anyone anything.

00:58:19:45 – 00:58:24:26
Unknown
And the main thing we want to be teaching people is how they can work with us. Right? So let’s let’s do it.

00:58:24:26 – 00:58:37:19
Unknown
The client success story for today is Miller Well drilling. Miller oil drilling, yay for them. Has been a client of ours for over 20 years. Get out of here over 20 years. Really. And we’ve stayed with them.

00:58:37:19 – 00:59:06:25
Unknown
They stayed with us through ownership changes, through personnel changes, through all kind of changes. They’ve they’re still with us. We designed their website. We maintain their website. We customize their website. We are there for them. And and there have been a couple of incidents that have happened over the years. Can you imagine 20 years, some malware, a couple of malware infusions, especially when I was on this other platform, this hosting platform that I refused to name right now.

00:59:06:25 – 00:59:30:51
Unknown
But if you contact me privately, I will let you know and tell you who the best hosting provider is for you to go with. Yeah, this is one that I’m with that I love them. But anyway, Miller World really what they do exactly what they say. They drill wells all over. I don’t want to say all over the country, but basically it’s all over the southeast and they do a darn good job of it.

00:59:30:52 – 00:59:49:40
Unknown
You know, their site just shows exactly what they do. Talk about it. You know, they show you they have some deep down and they when they’re doing the wells and all that, it’s just great. It’s been wonderful getting to know them as a company and having them be with us all the time. And their website is Miller Well drilling.com.

00:59:49:42 – 00:59:51:27
Unknown
Go and check them out.

Who knows, we may see you on here.

01:00:28:01 – 01:00:55:04
Unknown
Now we were talking about Rene and her awesome, awesome calf model, so I want to reiterate that challenge that she issue to you is to decide on one goal, just one, one goal that you need to accomplish for yourself. And then teach this your peeps. Teach this to your audience. You will be surprised at the outcome because there’s a goal that you want, but you’re going to teach them to do it and you will learn so much in the process.

01:00:55:17 – 01:01:05:25
Unknown
So you go do that. Now to recap what Rene and I talked about. Number one, using the cap model for teaching helps you and your audience achieve success.

01:01:05:25 – 01:01:19:46
Unknown
The second point is it’s in the doing that the knowledge gets a submitted in your brain and your soul by taking action. I always say that take action because nothing happens until you do something, until you yourself take action.

01:01:19:46 – 01:01:44:48
Unknown
You can study all you want, you can watch all the videos you want, you can read all the books that you want, but until you take action, nothing happens. And then the final point is, removing one of the carved pillars robs people of the opportunity to get what they need. And while so don’t have to break off a little piece and just do your own thing, put them all together, use them and you will be glad that you did.

01:01:44:48 – 01:01:53:52
Unknown
Would you like to get free coaching for me? Simple. All you need to do is go to on marketer business.com/podcast.

You ready for the book? Get this book 90 Ways to Age Vibrantly. This book was written by my first, very first student in the bestseller lab, Marci Cody. It is a Baby Boomers Journal. It has longevity tips, physical, mental, financial, and spiritual tips in there is chock full of tips. It’s chock full of information. She gathered together nine of her clients, colleagues and people with knowledge about everything to do with making yourself better as you age.

01:02:30:36 – 01:02:50:38
Unknown
And she got up in here and it turned out to be a great book. You can find it on Amazon right now. 90 Ways to Age Vibrantly. Go get it. If you’re thinking about aging, because what is it that Marci says? She’s like, she’s a walk now or a walker later? I think that’s what she said. Walk now, Walker late.

01:02:50:38 – 01:03:13:37
Unknown
I know it’s Walker later. So in essence, what she’s saying is take care of yourself now or you’ll be sorry because you’ll be in a walker. And I wanted to add something to that because that really kind of hit me like, I was watching this, a YouTube video last week about members of The Cosby Show, small, smaller players.

01:03:13:37 – 01:03:32:21
Unknown
People had a recurring roles, things like that. Who were on The Cosby Show was, you know, in the 80s or something. But they were talking about people who had passed. And a lot of the people, a majority of the ones who had passed, I think it was 20, altogether, who knew were saying that they were upset with their life.

01:03:32:26 – 01:03:55:39
Unknown
They weren’t happy. Not some of them really were upset. And some of this, some of them just weren’t happy with their life and how it turned out out. Even though they had made millions of dollars, a lot of them had at least had made at least a million or more dollars in their career, whether they were on The Cosby Show for a long time or a little bit of time, some of you know, 20 million and stuff like that, but they just weren’t happy with their life.

01:03:55:53 – 01:04:13:37
Unknown
They didn’t look at their life overall. They made all these big sacrifices to, you know, to stay in the in the world of TV and all of that. And when it came down to it, you know, we all grow older, we all age, and we all die at one point. So what are you doing with your life right now?

01:04:13:37 – 01:04:31:51
Unknown
If you’re not doing something that makes you happy, that brings you peace, and then you can tell others about it, feel good about it, you need to be doing something else because Agent Angle to stop is going to keep on going until you are no longer on this earth. It’s kind of a scary thing to think about, but it’s not a bad thing.

01:04:31:51 – 01:04:50:06
Unknown
It’s just it’s just a circle of life. This just how it goes. You were born and they were going to die. But what you do in between that time is what defines you and I. I really want to be defined by how many people have helped and how good I made somebody’s life, rather than me thinking about, oh my God, I didn’t do anything with my life and blah blah blah.

01:04:50:06 – 01:05:15:08
Unknown
So just a little point I wanted to bring up, you know, because sometimes I have these points right. So thank you to my guest, Rene Padmore. Thank you for joining me and all the goodness and awesomeness that you spread to us. It was amazing. Now I want you to stay tuned and watch out for the next episode, which is the success trifecta.

01:05:15:12 – 01:05:39:27
